Can I choose my own repair shop?
Yes. In California, you can choose your collision repair shop even if your insurer suggests another one. Tell your insurer you'd like Drive Auto Body to handle the repair. Learn about choosing your shop.
Do I need an insurance estimate first?
No. We'll walk you through the first steps and the information you'll need when you contact your insurer to open the claim. If you already have an estimate, send it over for us to review.
What if the car isn't drivable?
Don't drive a vehicle you believe is unsafe. Call us to discuss towing assistance, the vehicle's location, and arrangements. We'll clarify costs and any insurance coverage before a tow is arranged.
Can you help with a rental car?
We can help you navigate rental arrangements while your vehicle is being repaired. Rental coverage, limits, availability, and any out-of-pocket costs depend on your policy and rental provider.
How does deductible assistance work?
We review eligibility after the insurer determines or accepts the repair estimate. Qualifying repairs may be eligible for up to $500, subject to shop approval and written terms. Assistance isn't automatic, and we don't change your insurer's coverage decisions. See the offer details.
Is the initial estimate free?
An initial visual estimate is free. Hidden damage may require disassembly and repair planning. We discuss any related charges and get your authorization before that work begins.
